Four times a year our club meets in the evening rather than for lunch. This is to accommodate some of our hard working members who find it difficult to get away for lunch in the middle of the week.Yesterday's was one of those meetings.
After dinner we took a brief moment to welcome a couple of new members. Tiffany Hurst and Stephanie Mann, welcome.
We always recognize visitors to our meetings. Three members introduced their non-member spouses. My wife, Linda Bucy was present along with Homer Erickson's wife Carolyn and Stephanie Mann's husband Colvin.
Our speaker was Coleen Connor Executive Director of Tippecanoe County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate). She talked about the good work that CASA volunteers do helping guide youth through the court system.
